Born in the majestic Northwest, Josh Keener displayed great musical potential from very early in his childhood. The eldest often children and the son of a musician/songwriter, Josh picked up his first instrument in elementary school. Following in the footsteps of his father, Josh began his musical journey by playing the drums; later moving onto piano and keyboards. Desiring to expand his musical accomplishments, as a young teen Josh bought his first guitar. It was that guitar which helped to make Josh Keener the performing sensation he is today. Clearly a trained and experienced performer, he has the ability to capture the attention of an audience the very moment he steps on stage. Barely out of his teens, Josh followed his dream and moved to Nashville, Quickly capturing the attention of various record companies, he was signed to his first recording contract at the age of twenty-one. Broken Bow Records immediately sent Josh on a nationwide tour with artists signed to the same label......and his star began to rise. Opening for such

acts as "Collin Raye," "Brian White," and "The Marcy Brothers," Josh seized the opportunity to perform before audiences of thousands. Realizing his potential, Broken Bow Records set a date for the release of Josh Keener's debut album. Less than a year before it's release, a personal tragedy forced Josh to return to his family in Oregon. Choosing to forsake his life-long dream was a difficult decision for him, but now, he is back and raring to hit the road again! With the same great sound he was known for then, along with many years spent polishing his skills as an artist and performer, Josh is back and ready to take on Nashville one more time with determination to achieve his dream, there is little doubt that Josh Keener will soon be heard on Country Radio from Coast to Coast. Josh has just signed with record producer and CEO of Castle Records , Ed Russell who feels this kid has a shot.
