  Allen has been writing with some of the most noted songwriters in Nashville

  Allen was featured on August 4, on "The Morning Show" with Kay Baine, WTVA in Tupelo

   Mississippi. This show has aired for more than 50 years, beginning as the Buddy and Kay

  Show.

Allen was recognized on George Kline's Sirius radio show, All Elvis, All the Time,

Airing from Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee during a radio interview with Tommy Barnes

and Flash Flanagan..  In July, Allen performed as part of the First Annual Whippoorwill Music Festival in Nebo,

North Carolina. Allen opened for Kevin Sharp and John Anderson. In. July, Allen was the featured artist on "Local Licks" with Melissa Frost, KRRV, a Clear Channel Station in Alexandria, Louisiana, Allen was featured in the June episode of "Nashville On Stage", which airs on PAX-TV in Tennessee and Kentucky, and on local Nashville channel 19. Allen performed 2 songs and did a brief interview. Allen opened for legendary guitarist/producer Tommy Allsup in Iowa.
